How to solve the Text United desktop app update failure on login
If you're having problems with updating the Text United desktop app, please check if your third party antivirus has not blocked the udater.exe.
This may happen as a false alarm in some antivirus applications that are set to a strict mode. No worries - you can safely remove the Text United updater from the list of blocked applications.
If your antivirus application isn't blocking the updater, please check if your computer has all the administrator privileges.
Depending where you installed the Text United app, navigate to that folder. In most cases it will be in the Program Files (x86) folder:
Left click on the TextUnitedApp.exe file and select Run as administrator.
This will enable the update if your computer didn't have the necessary administrator privileges.
