You have a problem using the WordPress plugin? This is what should you do.

WordPress is a great content platform with rich functionality but is also a complex software environment. So if you experience problems with using TextUnited WordPress plugin, please check the following questions and tips.

WHEN YOU PROBLEMS WITH REDIRECTIONS

  • Are you using another plugin that deals with automatic redirections?

Before contacting support, please let us know what plugin you use and send a screenshot of what rules are used in this plugin.

  • What custom rules are used in the .htaccess file

  • What permalinks structure is used?

You can find this information in settings -> permalinks

  • Are you using any plugin which manages cache?

Reset the cache in the plugin.

  • Are you using another translation plugin?
Disable it and check if the website is translated.

 

WHEN YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH FRONTED ERRORS WHEN THE WP PLUGIN IS ACTIVE:

  • Enable WP_DEBUG option in wp-config file.

  • Do you get any alerts from the wordpress email?

IF YOU ARE USING DIVI THEME

Navigate to DIVI > Theme options
Try to toggle the "Disable Translation" option. In case this doesn't solve the issue try adjusting the theme file.
 
Currently whether the option "Disable translation" is enabled, it forces en_US  localization so it is overwriting Text United plugin ability to dynamically change localization in website. 
 
You can edit the theme file in:
wp-content/themes/Divi/functions.php    - line 8380
 
add // before "return 'en_US'"
